Surakarta, 5 December 2024 – The English Language Education Study Program (PBI) of FETT, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) held a Visiting Lecturer activity by presenting three expert lecturers from Muhammadiyah Purwokerto University (UMP). The activity which took place in the PBI Study Programme classroom presented Faisal, Ph.D, Feizal Aziez, Ph.D, and Miftahul Furqon, M.Pd. as presenters and provided direct learning enrichment to students.
This activity is a concrete implementation of the collaboration between UMS and UMP, as well as a follow-up to the previous visit made by the PBI Study Program of FKIP UMS to UMP. This activity is not only beneficial for students, but also a place for friendship and collaboration between lecturers of the two universities. ‘We hope that activities like this can continue with more diverse forms, such as joint research or student exchanges,’ said the Head of PBI UMS.
It is planned that the cooperation between UMS and UMP will be enhanced through concrete programmes, including joint publications and community service.
