3 STUDENTS OF DEE FKIP UMS PASSED THE THEMATIC KKN CIANJUR RECOVERY PROGRAM

The University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta Community Service and Organizational Development Institute (LMPPP UMS) sent 51 students from various UMS faculties to participate in the Cianjur Thematic KKN Recovery Program. The KKNT programme was carried out in collaboration with the Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MDMC) in three locations, namely Cariu Village, Mangun Village and Barukarso Village, West Java which began on February 16-March 16, 2023.

The Thematic KKN program aims to actively and applicable involve students in community life so that they are more sensitive to issues that occur and become a place for self-development to find out the community’s aspirations more closely. Students were taught to care and empathize with their education. Before carrying out the activity, students were provided with the provision by MDMC, especially knowledge related to Sanitation and Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS).

Of the 51 students who passed the selection stage to devote themselves to the community in Cianjur, there were 3 Department of English Education students, along with three other PTI students who represented the Faculty of Teaching and Education (FKIP) in this humanitarian activity. Among others are:

  3. Toni Rizkina

The three great DEE students successfully passed and are ready to serve the community. The activities carried out by UMS students will benefit the society.
