Muhammadiyah celebrated its 112th anniversary on 18 November 2024, marking more than a century of the organisation’s service to the nation. Carrying the theme “Menghadirkan Kemakmuran untuk Semua”, Muhammadiyah affirms its commitment to realising equitable welfare at all levels of society.
This theme, which is stated in Muhammadiyah Central Leadership Decree Number 431/KEP/I.0/B/2024, reflects the inclusive vision and social justice that underpin the Muhammadiyah movement. “We want prosperity to be felt by all Indonesian people, without exception,” said Chairman of PP Muhammadiyah, Prof. Dr. Haedar Nashir, M.Si.
The 112th anniversary celebration will be coloured by various activities that reflect the spirit of the theme. One of the main events is Tanwir Muhammadiyah which will be held in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, on 4-6 December 2024. This event will be an important momentum to discuss strategic issues and formulate concrete steps in realising prosperity for all
