SEGA is Saturday English Gathering, a special mandatory activities DEE FKIP UMS studentsto improve spoken English skills outside of lecture hours. SEGA also provided a venue for students DEE especially those that want to have the skills in teaching. SEGA is under the Department of English Education and mentor is Miss Syahara Dina, M.Ed. SEGA itself was formed in 2003 on the initiative of one of the professors of English, Prof. Endang Fauziati.
On October 26, 2022, SEGA conducted a Re-Organization in the Seminar Room on Floor 7 of the Gedung Induk Siti Walidah, which was attended by all old and new administrators as well as selected SEGA tutors. The event was also attended by Mr. Titis Setyabudi,S.S.,M.A the Head of the UMS FKIP English Education Study Program, and his staff.
