The TAKIS Business Plan Competition is a national competition organized by the Entrepreneurship Department of HIMA IEKI, UPI, as one of a series of events entitled TAKIS with the theme “Business Guide for the Digital Era.” The competition, held from September 10 to October 30, has six sub-themes: culinary, services, fashion, creative technology, UMKM, and regional business development.
Desla Fitri, a DEE student, and her team won first place in the 2022 TAKIS Business Plan Competition with the working title “Calthlities.” This work is an application that operates in the service sector by providing mental health consultation services by mental experts in collaboration with Sign Language Interpreters (JBI) for people with disabilities in Indonesia. The CALTHLITIES application focuses on providing psychological therapy services and mental health education for people with disabilities by working with experts.
“I brought a group from different majors, namely informatics engineering and health, together to make this work. So the hope is that this application can be developed and realized so that the benefits will be felt.” said the DEE class of 2021 student.
She also revealed that he had won not only a national-scale competition but also several other competitions. Desla also advised all students, especially DEE students, to remain enthusiastic and creative as students so that they can excel in any field they are passionate about.
