PKKM is an open competition program in which all state universities (PTN) and private universities (PTS) that fulfill the requirements can participate. Higher education institutions can submit proposals in three categories: League I for universities with more than 18,000 active students and a minimum of B or excellent accreditation; League II for tertiary institutions with active student numbers between 5,001 and 18 thousand people and at least very well accredited; and Liga III for universities with 1,000 to 5,000 active students.
English Education is one of the 2022 PKKM Grant (Independence Campus Competition Program) winning study programs. This success demonstrates that DEE FKIP UMS is credible.
DEE organizes several activities to support the program implementation, such as public lectures invited by practicing teachers, focus group discussions with teachers on evaluating student activities at DEE relation schools, workshops for lecturers, and procurement of technology to improve the quality of learning. And student programs such as credit transfer to DEE campus relations abroad and entrepreneurship programs for students. The event was held to support the advancement of education and the quality of innovative lecturers, students, and graduates. PKKM seeks to identify and develop students’ potential through optimally packaged academic and non-academic activities.
