Another proud achievement was scored by the students of the Department of English Education. A team, consisting of Tia Kurnia Sari, Nawal Safira, and Andini Putri Prameswati, won the third place in the Digital Based Start Up Competition.
This event was organized by STIE Bank BPD Central Java Management Student Association with the theme “The Advantages of Digital Start Up Business Goes to Social Contribution”.
The selection of this competition consists of two stages, the selection of proposals and the final presentation. The DEE student team made it to the final stage beating dozens of other teams from universities throughout Indonesia.
The team, led by Tia Kurnia Sari, raised the idea of a healthy food business named Kerso Catering. The programs offered by Kerso Catering are also very interesting, ranging from diet programs for those who want to lose weight, programs to maintain a healthy diet, as well as special programs for people with certain diseases such as diabetes. They provide a varied menu every week.
Customers are required to consult first before choosing the appropriate programs, so for this, Kerso Catering has hired a nutritionist to help run their business idea. Consultations are carried out via Instagram direct messages, telegram, and whatsapp.
They use Instagram as marketing media. Meanwhile, for ordering media they cooperate with Grabfood, Gofood, and Shopee food.
