Period I graduation ceremony of the 2021/2022 academic year of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta had been done on Friday, October 8, 2021 and Saturday, October 9, 2021.
It was held at the KH. Ahmad Dahlan Editorium Building and was also broadcasted on TV UMSChannel. The total number of graduates was 1.350 participants, consisting of undergraduate and master’s students.
The event was divided into two days, on Friday (08/10/2021) and Saturday (09/10/2021) and was allocated into several sessions. This is due to the large number of graduates who take part in offline ceremony. Meanwhile, the KH. Ahmad Dahlan Editorium Building capacity is very limited considering the Covid-19 pandemic.
To be able to attend the event offline, the participant must at least had been given first dose of Covid-19 vaccination and brought the antigen test result.
To avoid the risk of Covid-19 transmission, each offline session was held only for 10 to 15 minutes. Nevertheless, the graduates did not lose the graduation atmosphere, they were still enthusiastic to attend surely with strict health protocol.
