DEE Grand Lecture

DEE in collaboration with University of Kebangsaan Malaysia conducted Grand Lecturer for DEE students. The theme of this event was “Education 5.0: Challenges and Opportunities”. The participants of this lecture were student of English Education Department both Magister and Bachelor Degree . It is hoped that this event will give the insight for students about the reality that they will face after they graduate from this university. This lecture was conducted in Conference Building Pascasarjana UMS on December 3, 2018.

The speaker of this event was Dr Melor Md Yunus, an Associate Professor and Deputy Dean of Research and Innovation at the Faculty of Education, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She is best known for establishing the integration of ICT in teaching and learning English as a Second Language research. She contributed to developing the PERMATApintar National Gifted Centre in Malaysia in 2009 and was appointed as the first Deputy Director of the center. She is the first recipient of the National Higher Education e-Learning award (2014) for her contributions in Creativity (Blended Learning, Flipped Learning, and Problem-Based Learning). She is also in the Top 3 Cited Malaysian Researcher List in 2014 MRUN Report and she won UKM Best Teaching Award (Bitara Pendidik) in 2016.
