The implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program formulated by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbud) is planned to start in 2021. In responding to this program, FKIP UMS took part in supporting this program by delegating some of the students to participate in it.
As many as 90 applicants within the FKIP UMS wanted to participate in the implementation of the MBKM Program, but only 13 of the best students could be delegated to the program which will funded by the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP). For the other 77 applicants, FKIP UMS will design a similar program focusing on school development in the area where student live.
From those 13 students elected to join the program, there were two DEE students who were successfully chosen. These students are Astri Mafidah And Niaty Beladinna. Big congratulation for them…. ! It is hoped they can contribute on this program and bring the great impact to the society.
