On February 26, 2020, DEE held “Workshop of Teacher Professionalism Enhancement” as a part of community service of DEE lecturers. Four lecturers were involved in this workshop as the speakers with various topic delivered. Malikatul Laila, M.Hum, spoke on “Strategies to Improve English Competence through Discourse Understanding”. Other speakers included Rini Fatmawati, M.Pd who spoke on “ Developing Scientific Approach Based on English Listening Materials for Junior High School Students”; Yeny Prastiwi, Ph.D who spoke on “Writing Abstract of the Research Article”; and Nurhidayat, M.Pd. who presented “The Use of Schoology as the Learning Management System”. The participants of this workshop were English teachers of Junior High School in Surakarta.
