On 8,15,and 22 March 2024, the Department of English Education FKIP UMS held a Visiting Professor program with Dr Dat Bao from Monash University, Australia, to give a session on ‘English Language Material Development’. The event was held online through Zoom and attended by students from semester 4 and 6, as required.
During the session, Dr Bao provided an in-depth exploration of current trends and methodologies in English materials development, sharing his expertise and valuable practical examples. The interactive nature of the presentation allowed participants to actively engage and gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
The programme was well received, with positive feedback highlighting the relevance and impact of the content presented. The event significantly contributed to the academic growth of our students, providing them with better knowledge and skills in developing English materials.
