Department of English Education (DEE) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) is proud to welcome 124 new students for the 2024/2025 academic year. Despite a decrease in the number of admissions, DEE FKIP UMS remains optimistic to continue to provide quality education that is relevant to the needs of the world of work.
As part of the campus introduction, DEE FKIP UMS, assisted by the English Education Students Organization (EDSO), held a series of orientations to help new students adapt to the academic environment and campus activities, one of which was the English Welcoming Party. In this event, students not only get information about academics, but also can get acquainted directly with the lecturers in the English Education Study Programme.
With the entry of new students and the change of academic year, DEE FKIP UMS gained new energy to continue to be enthusiastic in producing graduates who are competent, innovative, and ready to compete in the global world.
