Silfi Aliya Sakina and Aldilla Dicha have officially commenced their participation in the SEA Teacher Program at Aklan State University (ASU), Philippines. The program began with an opening ceremony attended by students, faculty members, and staff of the College of Teacher Education (ASU-CTE), marking the formal welcome of Pre-Service Student Teachers of Batch 11 from Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta and Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta.
During the ceremony, Silfi Aliya Sakina and Aldilla Dicha delivered speeches introducing themselves and representing the Department of English Education (DEE), UMS. As a symbol of academic friendship and institutional collaboration, they also presented souvenirs from the English Education Study Program of UMS to the host institution.
This international teaching practicum provides valuable opportunities for the students to gain cross-cultural teaching experience, enhance their professional competence, and broaden their global perspectives in education.
