“Kampus Mengajar” is one of the program of initiated by Ministry of Education and Culture to call students from all study programs and universities in Indonesia to make contribution to society and to be the agent of change. This program focused on teaching in elementary school, especially those in 3T (Disadvantaged, Outermost, and Frontline) areas. This program will give the opportunity for the students who join it, to teach in rural area.
There are 47 students from English Education Department in UMS, who were selected to join this program. It is hoped that they will make great contribution to this program and also to the society. Also, it is hoped that the will get great experience dealing with the challenging situation of teaching in rural area and will be able to turn those challenges into expectations.
