Dr. Maryadi, M. A., a lecturer in the Department of English Education at the Faculty of Teacher and Training, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, is now retiring after dedicating 37 years of service. His profound wisdom and unwavering passion have been a source of inspiration for numerous students. Throughout his career spanning more than three decades, he actively engaged in shaping students’ characters and nurturing their highest potential as they absorbed the knowledge he shared. In this phase of retirement, he has made significant contributions to UMS, particularly within the DEE FKIP UMS. As such, colleagues and students will always remember Dr. Maryadi, M. A. as an extraordinary educator and mentor.
